Nate Laux is a professional crop adviser who has been consulting with Integral Ag, Inc. for nearly 10 years. He resides near Porterville, CA where he was born and raised learning how to grow citrus and other tree crops on his family’s farming operation. Nate belongs to the 5th sequential generation of the Laux family who has been working in the agricultural industry. After high school Nate became the chemical spray foreman for Laux Management, Inc. where he calibrated, serviced and operated air fan sprayers until deciding to go to college.
Nate studied agricultural science at the College of The Sequoias, Modesto Jr. College, Butte College and finally California State University Chico, where he studied plant science and other disciplines to become a pest control adviser as well as a certified crop adviser.
Currently, Nate consults for numerous growers from as far north as Madera County and as far south as southern Kern County just north of the grapevine. He recently expanded this area to include ranches outside of California as well. Nate has consulted for numerous pistachio, almond, walnut and citrus growers. Nate specializes in designing and implementing Integrated Pest Management programs for numerous tree crops grown in the central valley as well as assisting and coordinating with Dr. Justin Nay with pest management research.
